Year 6
Welcome to Year 6 - Wisdom Tree Class
In Year 6 for the Summer term, the children will be taught by Mrs Sheppard, Mrs Lowe (supply teacher) and Mrs Davies. Wilson will also continue to assist with PE on Fridays.
Our PE days this term are Monday and Friday. Please come to school wearing your kit on these days.
Production
The Wizard of Oz! We are very excited to be underway with our Year 6 production. The children have been fantastic so far as we prepare. Now we have assigned roles, we will be asking that the children learn their lines and songs please. The script is attached below, including the music and lyrics for the songs. Please look out for an email to help with costume ideas coming soon...

In Maths, we will continue to follow the National Curriculum by completing work on Angles. We will also be exploring some investigative maths and problem solving.

Homework
- Reading – pupils read a ‘scheme’ book (or novel if free-reader) with an adult at least five times a week. Please complete the reading record book your child brings home. Their line rehearsing will be counted towards their weekly reads.
- DoodleMaths
- Library books and scheme reading books will be changed when the children have completed their book.
