Ofsted report 2011-2010

Join us on a learning adventure

Welcome to Bathampton Primary School

Our school is a warm and friendly primary school set in the idyllic village of Bathampton.  We are the only Community, non-faith based, primary school to the east of Bath.

We have a well-deserved reputation for high quality teaching and learning, which ensures that our children are happy and inquisitive. Our rich curriculum provides opportunities for all our pupils to succeed and we are committed to both the academic rigour and the adventurous learning experiences that mean our pupils grow into independent, confident learners.

We came together as a community in 2019 to agree our vision and our core values which are respect, curiosity, creativity, kindness, resilience and teamwork.  We are passionate that these values run through everything we do and that learning at Bathampton is an adventure from which children leave as well rounded individuals , aspiring to be the best that they can be.

Our children love that we make creative use of our extensive outdoor space, including woods used for forest school and at playtime. As part of the Bath Conservation Area we have the Kennet and Avon canal on our doorstep, are a flat 10-minute cycle from Bath city centre and are on the edge of meadows recently adopted by the National Trust.

We would love to meet you and show you around our amazing school.

Best wishes
