Bathampton Curriculum

Our Curriculum

What does your child learn at school each day?

Your class teacher will provide a Topic Web each term that sets out the areas that will be covered in class. These will usually be under a theme that reaches across learning in different ways.

Topic Webs come from the Curriculum that progress each year through the school so that children are building on their learning and knowledge at each stage. Our Curriculum at Bathampton is contextually rich and diverse. We strive to make sure our curriculum develops children’s learning deeply whilst giving pupils a wide experience of local and wider history and knowledge.

Curriculum schemes:

We use a number of schemes to help us plan, implement and track the impact of our Curriculum. Please see these below. Please also visit the separate pages for each subject beneath these.

If you would like to find out more about our curriculum please speak to your child’s class teacher. In addition to our curriculum schemes, you may also find out more about the National Curriculum from the Department for Education Website.
