Geography
We want to inspire in children a curiosity and fascination about the world and its people that will remain with them for the rest of their lives.
Through the study of Geography, children can make sense of their surroundings and the wider world, developing both their environmental and social awareness.
Geography is the study of places, the human and physical processes which shape them, and the people who live in them. Skills developed through the study of Geography help pupils to gain a greater understanding of the ways of life and cultures of other people and places.
Our Geography curriculum embodies our school values: A curiosity and fascination of the world and its people. Respect and kindness to the world we live in. Developing teamwork to come up with ways to protect our natural environment and play our part in saving our world. Growing in resilience as we try to think of ways to solve these problems for now and future generations.
