Together on a Learning Adventure

Class 3

This is Class Three in Forest SchoolWelcome to Class 3

Welcome to Class Three. Class Three is taught by Ms Ovigne and Mrs Wood. Mrs Garrard and Mrs Burgess are our teaching assistants.

We cover lots of exciting topics in Year Three like The Romans, Earth Shattering Events and Ancient History. In Science we learn about Forces and  Magnets, Plants, Light, Muscles and Bones and Rocks Fossils and Soils.

Ms Ovigne is half French, so she is an excellent French teacher. Mrs Wood is a very keen musician, so we play lots of instruments too including drums, glockenspiels and recorders.

Our aim is to make all children feel safe, happy and curious about the world we live in and each other. We spend lots of time discussing ideas, learning from our mistakes. We recognise that we cannot possibly know everything, but every day we try and learn something new. We recognise that making mistakes is all part of learning and that sometimes we have to be brave and try new things that might be difficult. We celebrate children's successes within the classroom, and as a whole school. We hope that children will enjoy our topics, trips and our learning adventures together in Class Three.

Below you will find our Topic Web and Knowledge Organiser for the term.
